Zakopane, a town beautifully situated at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, offers a wide choice of free time activities. Early September promises mild, sunny weather, inviting outdoor recreation. Be sure to bring sturdy walking boots and clothing suitable for excursions and strolls. Short hiking trips into the Tatra Mountains National Park will be organized. During your visit to Zakopane you will also have a chance to explore the surrounding Podhale and Orawa regions and become acquainted with the folklore of the mountaineers.

The conference will take place in the „Hotel Belvedere„**** conference centre situated at the edge of the Tatra National Park, close to the center of Zakopane.
